Fort Worth is our corporate home, and Finley is dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we live and work. As a result, we are very active in charitable events and programs in Fort Worth. Our leadership provides an excellent role model for the entire company, giving generously to many local charities and participating as event sponsors to support the community in a number of ways.
Opportunities to attend the events Finley sponsors are spread among the entire employee base, providing direct experience with the organizations and communities that we support. It is through these experiences that we are able to example and encourage a giving-back mindset.
To further encourage employees to develop a focus on giving back, Finley established a charitable match program in 2010. This program spreads our contributions to organizations that are important to employees, further solidifying the meaningful support of the communities in which we live and work.
Finley Resources not only makes donations of time and money to numerous local organizations, Finley also provides opportunities for employees to volunteer during working hours. During 2013, over 900 hours of volunteer time was donated by Finley employees and $140,000 donated to local and state organizations.
Charitable Donation Match Program
To encourage employees to develop a giving mindset, Finley established a charitable match program in 2010. For each contribution an employee makes to a charity/non-profit organization, Finley will match up to $2,500 annually and up to $50,000 for the entire program annually. The program has provided an excellent platform for teaching our staff how to give back to the community in their own way.
